Liga Primer pada akhir Desember, besar kemungkinan timnya akan menjuarai
liga utama musim ini.
Ramsey mengeluarkan pernyataan ini setelah
penyerang Manchester United, Wayne Rooney, meragukan konsistensi Arsenal
dan menyebut prestasi bagus di awal musim tidak menjamin Arsenal akan
meraih gelar juara."Persoalan kami dalam beberapa musim terakhir adalah kami tampil jelek di awal musim. Itu tidak terjadi kali ini," kata Ramsey.
"Bila kinerja bagus ini bisa kami pertahankan hingga Natal, makin besar pula peluang untuk menjadi juara," tambahnya.
Arsenal belum pernah sekali pun mencatat kekalahan sejak 3 Maret lalu dan saat ini berada di puncak klasemen Liga Primer, unggul delapan poin atas Manchester United yang berada di papan tengah.
Kedua tim bertemu di Old Trafford hari Minggu (10/11) dan jika United kalah banyak pihak meyakini tim asuhan David Moyes ini harus mengubur ambisi mempertahankan gelar juara Liga Primer.
