Rooney mengatakan terlalu awal untuk mendukung Arsenal menjadi juara dan harus menunggu sampai Maret tahun depan untuk melihat ketahanan tim.
Sementara Moyes mengatakan tim lain juga memiliki peluang menjadi juara Liga Primer.

Arsenal belum pernah menang di Old Trafford sejak 2006.
Wenger juga mengatakan wasit yang akan memimpin pertandingan di Old Trafford akan lebih tenang menyusul pensiunnya Alex Ferguson Juli lalu setelah memimpin United selama 27 tahun.
Wenger menambahkan, "Saya rasa banyak wasit akan santai dan senang pergi ke sana (Old Trafford)."
Selama Ferguson memimpin United, sejumlah manajer mengklaim wasit banyak yang takut untuk mengambil keputusan penting.
